Toronto and Los Angeles based songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer Ro Sardana (Abel Arms) has been a part of the Toronto music scene since the early 2000's.
Ro was a figurehead in Toronto Rock band Lovemethod (Maple Music/Universal)
whom he co-founded with best friend and late Broadway star Nick Cordero. Together Sardana and Cordero wrote, recorded, licensed and performed songs from their diverse catalogue and toured Canada supporting feature Canadian acts like Big Sugar, The Trews, Glass Tiger, Wide Mouth Mason, Bedouin Soundclash and many others.
After Lovemethod disbanded in 2007, Sardana went on to have a successful indie music career playing in bands Broken Arrows and The Mean. In tandem he formed and launched a successful Toronto-based creative digital marketing agency producing professional video and music content and marketing strategies for brands such as Huawei, RBC Royal Bank and Molson.
In 2019 Cordero and Sardana re-formed and relocated to Los Angeles and wrote and produced a new 3 song EP in Los Angeles under the name Creator/Destroyer. Tragically leading up to the duo's new EP launch in March 2020 Cordero contracted COVID-19 and passed away that July.
Devastated by the loss, Sardana moved back to rural Canada to write, record and produce his first solo EP during the course of the Pandemic under the name Abel Arms.
In May 2022, Ro connected with rising Broadway star and fellow singer- songwriter Ian Ward who was working with Cordero in the Los Angeles production of Rock of Ages. The 2 formed a relationship to bolster the need for poignant music in a post pandemic era with the formation Mutual Street Media Group. The vision is to carry forward the legacy and vision Sardana Cordero shared for writing, performing, recording and producing music with meaning.
